Sunday, November 16th

Early Service: Kevin, Chandra, Christy, Toby
Late Service: Chandra, Justin, Tim & Rhonda

Pre-service: Practice Christmas drama in small groups

Main Idea: God's Word is reliable, not our senses, for choosing right from wrong.
Lesson Text: There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12 - Christy/ Justin (incorporating the powerpoint game) http://www.kidology.org/zones/zone_post.asp?post_id=87)
Object lesson: We will use a paper clip as well as a few other items and check our body's ability to perceive what they are and how they are touching us. The experiment is illustrated using only the paperclip at the following link. The other items such as a tennis ball, a shell, etc., are touched to the body in the various places and you must guess what item is touching you without looking. http://www.thechildrenshospital.org/wellness/info/kids/44834.aspx Toby/Justin as scientist
Game: Only the powerpoint (trick our senses played during lesson) and the other touch games will be used this week.
Memory verse: done with balloon game "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death. Proverbs 14:12 " (executed by all)
